Mr. Bienvenu was a founding partner of the firm. He was born in Lafayette, Louisiana on June 1, 1968. Mr. Bienvenu is regarded as one of the most knowledgeable real estate litigation attorneys in the State of Louisiana. Mr. Bienvenu is routinely invited to lecture before local realtor boards and provide in-house continuing education seminars to the largest real estate brokerage companies in Louisiana. He is a yearly featured speaker at the Louisiana Realtors Association's state convention and is often consulted in conjunction with proposed legislation regarding real estate matters.
Since being admitted to the bar, Mr. Bienvenu has had an active general civil litigation practice handling a broad range of civil litigation matters. He has tried numerous cases (judge and jury) throughout his career. He has obtained multi-million dollar personal injury settlements for clients and has defended Fortune 500 companies in complex civil litigation matters. For the past 13 years, a large part of Mr. Bienvenu's practice has focused on injury litigation, business litigation, real estate litigation, real estate agent errors and omissions litigation, regulatory matters before the Louisiana Real Estate Commission, and general liability defense litigation.
Mr. Bienvenu received his BA from Louisiana State University in 1989 and his JD from Loyola School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1993. He was admitted to practice in Louisiana in 1993. Mr. Bienvenu is admitted to practice in all Louisiana courts, all Louisiana federal district courts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
